The Citroën 2CV was first introduced in 1948 at Paris Mondial de l'Automobile and then manufactured for 42 years. The inspiration and purpose behind the car was to motorise French farmers who were still using horses and carts.

HISTORY The original run of Dollys in 1985 could be ordered with grey/white, grey/red and grey/yellow. Our grey/red car has been subjected to a ground-up restoration in 2019 and has covered less than 450 miles since. The current MOT is valid until February 2021 with no advisories. Pre-restoration mileage was 73,600 miles.

It was built for 41 years, but it was only sold in the UK from '53-'61 (when built in Slough) and from '74-onwards.. 1985 Dolly two-tones added, based on Spécial. 1988 Feb Last French 2CV produced. 1990 Jul Final 2CV built, at Mangualde, Portugal.
